What can I say about these two GirlBosses? I just love them and I believe in everything that they are doing. They have an understanding about makeup and about how to bring out the best in a woman's features that go above and beyond anyone else I know.

Besides being legit at their craft, these ladies are balls to the wall to make an awesome business and they are so inspiring. They are living their dream and putting in the work to do it. I'm super proud of them.

I will always be a fan of someone who follows their heart and makes their dreams come true. If you're looking for a makeup artist, you need to hire these two. Check out their site and just do it! You won't regret hiring them!

Also, as a side note:

I'm super passionate about creative small businesses and I want to do what I can to show support. I'm now offering a special package just for them. So if you're in need of high quality photos for your biz, hit me up and let's chat!

Married just over a year and expecting their first child, I think these two would say life has a funny way of working out, and being able to document their wedding and now their soon to be family, has been so fun.

Walking around downtown Spokane, in early Spring, can be an adventure weather wise, but it for sure held out for us and I think the results are amazing. Plus the right amount of wind can do wonders for a woman's hair....and let's be real, Tiff's hair is Beyoncé status.

Happy Sunday!

Oh 2015, what a trip you have been.

This last week I have been reminding myself of what life has been like in the last 12 months and I’m truly blown away and humbled and incredibly excited for 2016 (and maybe a little terrified too).

Thank you so much to all of those who have been a part of #thelifeoftess and for continuously supporting and loving me through this adventure.

I LOVE my city. It's so beautiful and even though I've lived here my whole life, I have found myself seeing new things in a place that I've seen a thousand times. Downtown will always be my favorite place to shoot portraits.

I also love getting together with other creatives and creating something together. That's what I did with Pete Slippy Photography this weekend. Pete is amazing! He's a young buck that is incredibly talented. In the space of a few hours I saw him grow and take some amazing shots.

We had been talking about this particular shoot for a few weeks and we were both so jacked to get it going. It helps when you know a guy with an epic beard and who also knows who to talk to in order to get on top of a building downtown.

Basically...we blew our own friggin' minds.

The city is probably my most favorite place to photograph (besides someone's home). I really don't know why, other than I really love the textures and the light. It was super overcast the day we went out, but the light was actually really beautiful and we got some awesome shots.

I got to work with three awesome people for this shoot too!

Thank you guys so much!

Happy Weekend!

This past weekend, I asked one of my friends to be in front of my lens and wander around downtown with me. I normally don't post something so fast, but this shoot is killing me!!!

Creative freedom is one of the best feelings ever, it's like taking a deep breath. And when clients let me have the reigns to do what I do....woooo look out!!!

Happy Monday
