How much do you charge?

How far in advance do I need to book with you?
It really depends on the type of session, but honestly, I'm game for short notice.
How would you describe your photography style?
Documentary/lifestyle, utilizing natural light.
What type of equipment do you use?
Canon & Adobe Lightroom.
Are you shooting in digital or film format or both?

Are you the photographer who will shoot my session/event? If so, will you have any assistants with you on that day?
Yes I am! If I feel that there needs to be more than one photographer I will make the arrangements for a second shooter.
Do you have backup equipment? What about a backup plan if you are unable to shoot my session for some reason?
Yes I do! And depending on the type of session we can reschedule, however, if its a wedding/event, I have a resource of photographers that I trust that I can ask, but please know I will do everything in my power to be there for you!!!!
Are you photographing other events on the same day as mine?
Sometimes! But when it comes to weddings…nope! You will have all my undivided attention.
How will you (and your assistants) be dressed?
We will be professionally dressed for the occasion.
For weddings, is it okay if other people take photos while you’re taking photos?
This can be a bit tricky. I don’t want your family and friends to miss out on your day at all. However, when I am taking pictures of you and your bridal party prior to the ceremony and during the ceremony, it is important that there is an understanding that I am your photographer and I have a job to do.
If you haven’t worked at my session site before, do you plan to check it out in advance?
Yes, I like to be as prepared as I can be.
Do you provide retouching, color adjustment or other corrective services?
Just a little bit. I’m not a fan of over processed/retouched photos at all. I love the realness of a person and I do not take away anything that is part of you. But I completely understand how acne can be a confidence killer and I do my best to make sure anything that is not permanent does not make it to the file cut.
Do you blog my photos?
Yes! There are a few exceptions, but 99% of the time, your photos are going to be up on the blog and used for promotion. That's explained in my contract.
How long after the session will I get the pictures?
Weddings & Major Events can take 6-8 weeks. Lifestyle sessions take 4-5 weeks. It does depend on the time of year and the amount of work I have.
How will I get my photos?
With a nifty web gallery. Its amazing! And super convenient when I finish your photos at 12 AM. I can instantly upload your photos and email you the link to your photos and you can download them immediately.
Do I own copyright?
Nope. I own that. But what you do receive is printing rights to the photos. All of that is explained in my contract as well.
Can I edit my photos?
Um, no. For a couple reasons. 1. If you feel like you have to edit photos you hired me for, we probably shouldn't work together and 2. That's part of my process and end product. So to go and re-edit an image, even making it black and white, it's changing my product and brand. That's never fun.

When will I receive a written contract?
ASAP! Either by email or in person.
How much of a deposit do you require and when is it due?
I require a 50% nonrefundable retainer the day we sign the contract. For weddings and events the remaining total is due 30 days before the big day.
For portraits, the remaining amount is due three days prior to the day of the shoot.
How do we pay?
Cash, check or credit! If you use a credit card, there will be an added processing fee to the final total.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
I require 48 hours notice for all sessions. If there is less than 48 hours notice, I require the remaining amount of the session and there is no refund as the session time has been blocked out specifically for you and your event.
For weddings, I require 30 days notice. If there is less than 30 days notice, I require the remaining amount of the package and there is no refund as the day and time has been blocked out specifically for you.
