Brand Photography FAQ

This page answers common questions brands and agencies have when working with Tess Farnsworth Photography. If you don’t see your question here, feel free to reach out.

What types of brands do you work with?

I work with small to mid-sized brands, creative teams, and agencies, particularly in lifestyle, product, fashion, and creative concept work. I’m especially well-suited for brands that value strong visual storytelling, true-to-life color, and creative collaboration.

How does booking work?

Booking begins with an inquiry through the contact form. Once project details are confirmed, I’ll send a proposal and contract. Your date is secured once the contract is signed and the required retainer is paid.

Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee availability or booking.

Do you offer usage or licensing?

Yes. All brand projects include clearly defined licensing terms.

Licensing is based on factors such as:

  • Scope of usage (web, social, email, paid ads, etc.)

  • Duration of use

  • Exclusivity

Licensing details are outlined in your proposal and contract so there are no surprises.

What is your turnaround time?

Typical turnaround time is 2–3 weeks from the shoot date, depending on project scope.

Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee and must be discussed prior to booking.

How many images will we receive?

Final image counts vary by project and are outlined in your proposal. I prioritize quality, consistency, and usefulness over volume.

Do you offer revisions or re-edits?

Minor color or exposure adjustments are included.

Extensive retouching, compositing, or creative changes beyond the original scope may incur additional fees and will be discussed before work begins.

Do you shoot on-location or remotely?

Yes to both.

I frequently work with brands remotely, with products shipped directly to my studio. On-location shoots are available based on schedule and may include additional travel fees.

Do you provide raw files?

No. Raw files are not delivered. Final edited images reflect my professional style and quality standards.

What are your payment terms?

A retainer is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due according to the terms outlined in your contract. Payments are processed digitally.

Can we cancel or reschedule?

Cancellation and rescheduling policies are outlined in your contract. Please review those terms carefully before booking.

Will you credit our brand or expect photo credit?

Photo credit is appreciated when images are shared organically, when possible. Specific credit requirements will be outlined in your licensing agreement.

How do we get started?

Submit an inquiry through the contact form with as much detail as possible about your project. I’ll follow up with next steps if it’s a good fit.
